GABY WALIOR 

Hi, I’m Gaby Walior—a 15-year-old rider from Fall City, WA. I’ve been riding for eight years and currently train with Sarah Kramer. I’m passionate about growing in and out of the show pen as I work toward my dream of riding for a college team.

I would describe myself as hardworking, dedicated, and always eager to learn. Being homeschooled has made me self-motivated and disciplined, qualities that carry over into how I ride, care for my horses, and show up for others. My current show horse is Loper, an 8-year-old gelding I’ve had for three years and shown in the western all-around. We’ve built a strong partnership and earned World Champion titles in the Horsemanship.​

I also have a 4-year-old project horse named Trip, who I’m bringing along in the English all-around. He’s taught me a lot about patience, timing, and adapting to different horses—skills I value just as much as a clean pattern or big win. 

When I’m not riding my own horses, I take every opportunity to get on anything my trainer will let me swing a leg over. Whether it’s a green horse needing miles or a more seasoned partner with quirks to figure out, I love the challenge and variety each ride brings. Riding different horses has helped me become more adaptable, sharpen my feel, and grow my confidence across all skill levels. It’s one of the best ways I’ve found to keep learning and pushing myself as a rider.

When I’m not riding, I volunteer with the Heroes Café and Warrior Retreat, programs that support veterans and military families, which is especially meaningful to me given my family’s military background.

In college, I hope to study Forensic Science or Criminology while continuing to grow as a rider, teammate, and competitor. I’m excited to keep pushing myself, learning from others, and sharing this journey as I work toward my goals.
